Cause its my primary lens for landscape Why do you ask that? 24 TSEII its a prime lens from canon and i dont have to shift or tilt every time i use it . I was lied down when i do this shot, just a bit shift just to have a more real image, perspective speaking

I asked because I havent really looked into TS lenses all that indepth, other than seeing the typical toy world situation... I dont know, I just wondered what the point of using a TS without tilting or shifting it was... and you answered my question perfectly! I guess there is no point in having a 24mm prime and a TS 24mm prime when as you said, you dont need to tilt or shift every time!

I you take a look on some reviews you will see that the 24 TSEII is more sharper than the 24mm prime and some other very good lens. And also there isn't any chromatic aberration at all. Its an excellent lens.

Nice... well as I said, I have never really looked into TS lenses.
I have just upgraded to a Nikon D700, 16-35mm f/2.8 for my landscapes, would you say I should look into the nikon TS lens at some point?

TSEII canon Lens are new generation lens. I ve already tried a lot of lens and i can tell for sure this 24 TSEII its the best lens i´v used. I´m now considering the 17 TSE

Oh right... what do you know about nikon TSE's? I have read that there can be problems with the D700, the popup flash gets in the way apparently.
