A nifty Subaru Impreza WRX STi racing up Trial Mountain. I managed to capture just the right moment when the exhaust backfires, but it turned up less dramatic than I hoped.Click "Download" for higher res version

XD I have no idea what makes a car backfire... but I've heard that the Mercedes SLR does it from factory o.O I wish mine did too, it's hella cool

I have a moderately-tuned Suzuki Cappuccino that backfires like that every time I hit the brakes and downshift, so maybe it has something to do with that.
