In April was organizing a collaborative project between several brazilian illustrators friends (godzilla art collaboration) everyone should pick one kaiju of the series of godzilla / gamera and another kaiju movies (Including the godzilla remake of 98 and animated serie). each redesigned the kaiju in your chosen style.Mine was the japanese Kaiju Goliath.

Estive em abril organizando um projeto colaborativo entre vários amigos ilustradores cada um deveria escolher um kaiju da serie de filmes godzilla e gamera (Inclusive o remake de 98). cada um redesenhou o kaiju escolhido em seu estilo.

HOLY CRAP! Of all the obscure, lesser known Kaiju to receive incredible, high end fan art, this one of Goliath is just incredible!
I couldn't believe it at first, mostly because barely anyone has heard of "Daigoro vs Goliath" (1972). and because your take on the 'bully space monster' is more sorrowful than the original film's villain. But this is just amazing, and I hope you consider doing more such Kaiju pieces in the future.
I'd love to see your takes on "Legend of the Dinosaurs and Monster Birds" (1978), or "Attack of the Super-Monsters" (AKA "Dinosaur War Izenborg"), seeing how your a dinosaur fan!

Glad you enjoyed the art. Yes this is very Kaiju unknown. When I mentioned Goliath to my other friends of the project they were wondering what was this monster? hahaha good, I'll most probably drawing more kaijus soon... I like a lot of these creatures
