Yes! Hahaha well remembered the Throne may have been done with the swords of soldiers who lost the battle scene in the thorns wall . One question.... is Stefan or Stephan? ..... swear to have seen Stephan in the movie subtitles but now I'm in doubt

It's Stefan. Stephan is the correct spelling of the name, but in the movie, the credits list has him as Stefan. Your drawing came up in the Maleficent Club, of which I just signed on to last night. I was going to tell you about the club today, but when I saw this drawing and clicked on it, it was YOU!
I love how you did the robe. She really looks devilishly sweet here. BTW, how long did it take you to draw this?

I took a quick look at that link. Oh yeah, I already like his work! There were a couple of cool dragons there that I commented on.
That Meet And Greet Maleficent is from Walt Disney World in Florida. It was taken during an 'all nighter' that Disney pulled on Memorial Day weekend (they kept the park open for 24 hours). Maleficent was a surprise Meet And Greet. I am not sure if they have her in the park regularly since, but since I have not seen any more videos put up on You Tube after the Memorial Day weekend event, I am assuming for now that was only the one time. However, I have a funny feeling they will have Maleficent in the park regularly, but I certainly hope they use the same woman. (Granted she would be only Maleficent part of the time given the park hours and that they are open 7 days a week so she would be sharing the role with other women).
Yes, I have seen that girl that plays Merida before. She certainly is the best one they have. All the other park Merida's I turned my nose up at and I don't particularly care for. One girl was so bad, she couldn't even do the accent properly. However, this one is exceptional and carries the role well.

Very cool, I wish I was at Disney this day. I believe that with the success that the movie did they go ride some permanent attraction.
My parents and my younger brother visited Orlando at Disney in 2012.... I was in Brazil because i was too busy and many college projects to do.

Yeah, as far as I know they don't have a permanent meet and greet for Maleficent.
In the videos I sent you I read an article today stating that the movie version of Maleficent did a Meet & Greet for a select few hand picked people for a private event. So this wasn't open to the rest of the park...just for a few hand picked people. And this was done on the overnight for the 24 hours the park was open on Memorial Day weekend.
The article continues to say that as of now Disney doesn't plan to have a permanent meet and greet for Maleficent, unless the movie does extremely well and undoubtedly people in the park will want to see her.
So you never were up here to visit Disney. It certainly is a MUST DO, especially if you are a Disney fan.

Yeah, I would think they would do something by the time the DVD is released. Maleficent is still going strong here although my theatre is showing it only one one screen now. Yesterday I went to see How To Train Your Dragon 2 with my sons and it was playing in theatre #8 (out of 16) which was the same theatre I saw Maleficent in a couple weeks ago.
If they do make it a permanent attraction, I hope they use the same woman they used during the Memorial Day 24 hour bash, she was really good.

HTTYD2 Was great! It is better than the first one...that is all I can say. If you like dragons, this is a must see movie. The 'gang' are all 5 years older now and of course there is a new villain. But there are a couple of twists that are really interesting. There are some really sad parts in the movie too. I am not going to say much else until after you seen it for yourself. I do recommend seeing it though.

Yeah, the robe came out really nice (as well as everything else). I was like wow! When I first saw the picture and usually if I really like something I will leave a comment. So when I clicked on the drawing and your name came up, I was even more surprised!
Yeah, I remember that outfit too. Also very nice. That was when she was in transition from her 'winged' outfit and the black one she wears when she is 'evil'. Of course her first outfit was completely ruined after you know what happened (don't want to list too many spoilers here).
I think many people like Maleficent even though it does get a mixed reaction. It seems like those with an open mind and/or have not seen Sleeping Beauty will embrace this movie more than a die hard Sleeping Beauty purist. Given that I fall into this latter crowd as I was so used to pure evil Maleficent from that movie, it was a bit harder for me to accept some of the plot twists in the new movie. But I think what has a help was the spectacular first part of the movie which really draws you into Maleficent's past. That is the part that both drew you and myself in too. The strong background did make some of the milder twists a bit more bearable.
Overall I think the movie is gaining momentum as many of my friends that have held off on seeing the film for the first two weeks are seeing it now.

Yes the film has divided opinions, some critics are saying that the movie has a rape scene and propagates hatred to men. I say just one thing about these criticisms. Bullshit!! This guys want to create controversy where none exists . It's just a fantasy movie for fun. The rape scene is very subliminal and the film shows the love between friends (Aurora x Maleficent)
Another bullshit I've read about the film is that maleficent is lesbian . God, seriously? Where do people get these ideas? hahaha
Whatever the movie is very good and I'm in love with him. The scene Maleficent child is very beautiful, it is sad that Stefan has dumped her and hurt;

I thusfar had not thought of a good outfit for her when she has her wings. I would think I would stretch design periods a bit and would say a simple organic looking backless halter style dress. I would like to see her arms and shoulders exposed and the backless design would be logical because of her wings. I would say a nice deep green colored dress which would complement her eyes. Something like this:

Again, I hear you in regards to older style clothing. Sometimes I like newer styles but with older patterns and vice versa. For example Elsa and Anna's coronation dresses in Frozen. I love those dresses with the rosemaling designs on them. But yeah, I do like the Medival and Victorian looks myself.
You read that film critics say the film is biased towards hatred to men?!?!? I don't get that at all. I mean really speaking of the one bad scene...look what Stefan did to Maleficent. I hate him too for that. And what about Diaval. I don't see any hatred there. Ok, I know Diaval is really a raven, but still I thought he was treated well by Maleficent. Yeah it is amazing what some people dream up. Maleficent a lesi? LOL! Oh, now that is the best one I heard yet. Anyone can see that the relationship with Aurora and Maleficent is more mother/daughter like.
Maleficent as an adolescent is a darling. When I saw her pop on the screen I just lit up. They really picked out a beautiful girl for the role. Stefan was just a greedy pig! All he wanted was to rule over King Henry's land. But the way I see it is if he stuck with Maleficent, he would have ruled over a much more naturally rich land that was more interesting. Then he also won the love of Maleficent, a woman pure of heart with wings, great power AND is really beautiful too. (Shakes Head) He just tossed away something wonderful and magical. Then the awful thing he did to Maleficent. Terrible. I really felt bad and certainly could feel Maleficent's pain when she lost her wings. Drives me up the wall just thinking about it. Certainly one of the movies most powerful moments.
So you saw it twice already, huh? Well, the movies are very expensive here and I am already going to take my boys to see How To Train Your Dragon 2 this coming weekend. So I am going to have to wait for the DVD to see Maleficent again.

As for the movie, you do have to go into with an open mind. Even though I consider myself a Sleeping Beauty purist, I was open to a new concept. Many people are die hard purists and wouldn't let any kind of twist in. It is usually those people that set themselves up right before even seeing the movie, that they are not going to like it.
