I just did a search for the Savana Foxes... and I think your image is definitely better than what they used. The only thing that I would say is the main difference is that the derby girl looks tougher in the image they used... so maybe that's why they went with that instead of yours.

Anyway, nice job on this.

If art/design school has taught me anything it's this: You have a client you make a logo, poster whatever for. You're supposed to give them at least three options, so you work really hard on one and whip up some shitty one. Show them to the client and they happen to love the shitty one. It's all too common for a client to choose a less impressive piece because they don't know art or design if it bit them in the ass. Unfortunately... they are the client and they know (or they at least think they know) what they want more than the people they hire. Can't win 'em all.

That's unfortunate, this looks pretty sweet for a Roller Derby team.

Oh well, keep it on file, and I'm sure that a client will come along in the future that will be looking for something similar. Then you can whip this out and job done.
