I used a GND filter to darken the sky. Otherwise you have to take two shots - one you meter for the object and the second you meter for the background and then combine the two in photoshop. easy cheesy.

Great contrast and colors! Even with such a fantastic sky, I'm still drawn right to the clocktower, so crisp!

well, which is one is it? I reckon people don't normally set their clocks late, mostly just a wee bit advanced if anything. But still, hurrah to D50!

Heh, most of my photos are off by 4 years and some odd days and months because every time I change the batteries the date and time reset. My camera's digital so this occurs quite regularly and I quit setting the date back after about the first month of use.
