I do not think it's missing anything. I think there is too much background "noise". It takes a viewers attention away from the model. The eyes want to take in everything at once, and tend to travel around the background and focus there instead of on the main subject- the model.
Well, that's my two cents, and opinion. I hope it helps, if anything.

I like this, but I do think it's missing something, and I don't know what either. I don't understand this picture- maybe that's it. I don't understand the pose, especially the placement of his left arm/hand. I don't understand the emotion I get from him, which does seem negative to me (clarification: not bad, just negative as in angry or some other negative emotion), compared to the beauty and sereness of the background. I get very strong feelings about this. It's poetic. Would you be offended if I did a poem based on this? I'd note it to you before submitting it, if you'd like. I'm fascinated by this picture... I'm going to +fav it so I can come back to it. Hope you get back to me on this.

I really like this, and disagree with all the above comments about the colour. Bah, do away with it! (Sigh, I do that...) There are just so many colours that it's distracting, I find. I'm much more a fan of b/w pictures anyway.
Although his pose is odd, I like it. It's very very unusual, like he's almost angry and striking at something. It's very disturbing and captivating.

Hmm... contemplating the other comments... First off, I have to say I really like this shot. His skin is an amazing colour with the warm greens in the shot.
I think I would have moved all the pots and roses from the background and had him either contemplaiting the water by looking straight into it or looking shyly below his hand at the camera... sort of capricious-like.

Something about the millions of colors in this pic make it seem odd that he's naked.. I'm not at all sure why, he has a very beautiful figure and overall look is fantastic.. but it just doesnt quite.. fit?
