Such a great iconic view of the Valley. Love the little spots of reflection among the rocks. It is interesting to see the different angles of the sun on the cliffs - in November the shadow is heavy on the right while the sun is still on the trees of the valley on the left... Nice to know that log is still there, too

I just like to say that this is a wonderful and well balanced image.Β It is so nice to see Yosemite Valley with the soft glow of the setting sun and also to see the river.Β Too often people just focus on the mountains, so to see the river is such a refreshing view.

Been THERE/HERE....... Stood in this exact same spot. This was a side place there in "Kings Canyon" going to "HUME Lake".
