Since they shift from 2 lanes to 3 lanes to 4 lanes and back, they have to zip it 4 times a day. Kinda looks like the trailing driver can make fine alignment adjustments.

They use similar trucks on the Tappen Zee bridge on the Hudson in New York. A replacement bridge is now under construction.
