So do I, Discord and Fluttershy are very close and she does not know Big Mac well. I don't think Big Mac should date a mane six member. Besides, Cheerimac is very close to being Canon.

Exactly it's kind of silly to match two ponies that's hardly shared any screen time. Cheerimac does look a little promising.

Since Big Mac and Fluttershy are both shy and gentle, people think they are perfect together. I usually don't have a problem with two characters who barely share a screen time shipped together, especially if there is a good fanfic story behind it. I don't really like Fluttermac though, when you think of it, Cheerimac is better and makes more sense. I like the idea of an Apple farmer with a teacher, and teachers like apples. After hearing the story "hey Cheerilee", I like Cheerimac even more.

Flash was poorly scripted in those Equestria Girls movies, but unlike most haters, I prefer actually doing something about it. Just complainaing about it doesn't qualify as "doing something"

This is one of the things I mean. The other one is giving him more purpose. I mean he can't exist solely for being the love interest to Twilight. That makes him all the less of a character

Yes he should, I feel sorry that he was being used as a pawn in romance, one of the very things that get him the most hate.
They could have at least made Flash Sentry a long term
friend of Twilight.

I do like him as a character but I feel like he should have some more character development.

*boom* and idea struck me:
what if we have it that eg flash was separated from his little sister long ago, when they finally meet a dark wizard kidnaps her, and then flash chases after them revealing that he has dark powers that grants him strength but also corrupts him, and it's up to him, the mane six and the brother of the evil wizard to rescue her.

Yes, but that doesn't mean that he can't be a nice and likeable guy, independent from human Flash.
