Nooo! I do not use HDR. HDR kills all of depth on photo. And make it flat. To get good shadows, I use strobe light. Sorry for my eng

I think is a really great photo you have here, the clarity of this guy and his camera is really good, and how you've captured just how focused he is is amazing. Though, the one thing that bugs me about this photo is how you've cut off his head and elbow like that, zooming back a little to add the head and elbow would have further improved this shot.
