This ... has been the bane of my brain for the last two sleepless nights because I had to finish this!!...
I do hope it seems lovely. I'm still a little unhappy with the red string if fate, but Sentinel Prime and Elita-1/Blackarachnia turned out well.

Regardless, lately I've been looking for some good Sentinel Prime art and though I have found some ... I haven't found much. And I've found more hate art then I would have rather liked to.
Now, I'm not saying Sentinel is perfect. He is a jerk, all men are to some extent
, but what irritated me is that that characteristic is all people seem to see. Personally, I like to think of him as a mech who ... had his heart ripped out. When he lost Elita-1 on the spider planet, I think it really effected him. He used to be flexible with the rules (having traveled there in the first place) and used to joke with Optimus like a mean-spirited friend. Sentinel only became a stickler for the rules and regulations because the one time he didn't ... he lost someone he loved. So now he follows regulations with an up-tight attitude. And of his attitude toward Optimus ... he's angry at him, hurt, and just wants someone to blame. Not entirely right, but understandable. Personally, Optimus and him need a good sit down or a bro-survival day to get the bro-mance back together from their academy days.
And yes, I believe that Elita/Sentinel was cannon... they were way to clinging in the flashbacks no have not been. :3
Unfortunately for our two lovers though ... they seem to think their fates separated do to cruel circumstances... yet fate has many faces including red strings.

Wish the two could have been together. It would have a good paring to see. Just sad that in the series Sentinel can't get over on how Elita-One changed and now is half organic.

Yeah, I wish that their had been another season or two to try and expand on the relationship or their struggles to overcome what kept them each apart, but alas, that is what fanfiction is for I suppose. XD

I was so sad and angry when Elita came in then lead to believe she die. Only for her to come back which had me thinking now if Sentinel could just know maybe then they could try to be together. But it didn't happen. Damn it was just like the first episode of Doctor Who when the 12th doctort talking to Carla.
Saying he was there but she couldn't see him even as he stood there because she can't see it still him even as he changed.
But one thing gets me how did Sentinel get Elita? Normal she paired with Optimus.

Yeah, it kind of does remind me of that episode. Such a sad goodie.Β
As for why Sentinel got her? Well, I feel the writers were mixing things up like with the rest of the characters, introducing the characters in a new way. They might have introduced a femme later just for Optimus I suppose. If they had gotten that far.Β

That is a possible along with who Optimus could have been with. Wish they didn't end it so soon! And leave soΒ many question notΒ answer.Β Still would have like to know what Sentinel to get her because I can't stop thinking it. Maybe I can write up something that would explain how the two end up with one other. Frag, I'm going to be thinking of this a while. Wait....wasn't there a tweet about them bring the series back? *Shrugs* Oh well, it doesn't mater now.

Ahhhhhhh! It's so good to see another Sentinel/Blackarachnia shipper -hugs and refuses to let go- This is a gorgeous and heart breaking picture. I love that Blackarachnia is sitting on the moon looking down at Sentinel, all he needs to do is look up to see her, but in a way they'll never be together again.

I'm glad I found another fan of the pairing as well. I don't know why there isn't more stuff out there of these two ... its cannon... well, before she became half organic I guess.
But still a great pair.
And yes, I like to think that if the series went on something might have came of those two but I doubt he could overlook her organic side and ... she wouldn't be able to either. It's so romantically heartbreaking.
