Oh, beautiful! I really love the line width in this, as it gives it a sense of movement.
Very nice work!

That's Ivy alright. Not the appearance only, but the motion. Letting all who see her, man, woman, anyone- savor her raw unbiased beauty. Well done

Oh wow I love this. The thing about quick sketches is, sometimes they can turn out a whole lot more natural and convincing because the artist isn't forcing it, trying so hard or staring at the drawing for a strenuous amount of time.
This piece exemplifies this, very fluid and appealing.

Thanks very much. Yes, I love looking at sketches even more than finished pieces.

That's an interesting observation! I don't know that I've ever noticed it but I'll be trying it out later, see where it takes me

A lot of my finished work started out as quickies. :3 Sometimes it's better to let loose, the more frustrated or uptight you are the more problems you'll run into. Loosening up with lovely quick sketches like these does the artist's soul a good service. <3 Go for it for damn sure!

Maybe I should get a blue pencil that erases better, so I can cut a little looser The damn colored ones I use don't erase all the way.
Huh.... ya know it's funny how relevant this is to my martial arts study: You can't be tight, you gotta relax, just flow. Do you ever consciously apply that to your art? (I ask cuz I know you practice aikido )

I don't consciously apply this to art as I held the same principles and concepts about posing and relaxation before I started training at the dojo. Although, the training did reveal to me that relaxing is a superior way of doing a variety of things. But it's amazingly difficult to do in both drawing and martial arts. Gotta train oneself to chillax!
Not exactly sure if that emoticon is relevant to that statement.

Oh o.o
Well either way I'll take it as yet another reason to believe in it's powuh! ;^;
That's okay, I found it delightful and symbolic of carefree bliss
