I don't have a red husky...in fact - I never want a red, really, I am sorry

What issues? I don't like the red huskies, just personal feeling

I thought maybe, like red merles (or merles in general), that reds would have eye and ear issues that would follow. However, this is actually associated with skin color, not necessarily the fur, and now that I think of it, you already own dogs with pink/liver skin.
Now I do know that with Border Collies the red ones are considered bad luck as workers (thats why you usually see black ones). Are your reasons something like that, or you just plain do not like the color? Personally I like the black/silver and brown ones best. Reds are ok sometimes, but they're so over bred because EVERYONE thinks they're gorgeous!

I just don't like the color
I know, that white animals have skin problems (my white cat Yetti has a big problem), but my white dogs are okey.
I never heard about bad working by red huskies, but in fact - they are ussualy show dogs, no in mushing...

Husky colors never cease to fascinate me... I had a gray/white, wolf gray/white, and pure white (all females). My aunt's pack was mostly composed of black/whites, with two red/whites. *g*

I love piebald. I think it's the most pretty. Of coruse all your huskies are BEAUTIFUL, but I like piebald the best

So many colors! I thougt that huskies has only four colours: black&white, red&white, silver& white and white ^ But now I see I was tatally wrong ^
