Hot press is the smooth stuff right? Does the graphite stay on there without smudging? Wonderful job!

Yes, it's the smooth stuff... this in particular is Fabriano. I find it stays on well and doesn't smudge easily, though I always use a blank piece of paper to cover the work and rest my hand on anyway.
