lol you're wrong with all three statements. first off, even if it was commercial, advertising is a form of art. secondly, the model does not need to be beautiful by society's standards in order to make a beautiful photograph. third, stop giving men a bad name.

what was your point of view by saying this photo isnt art? would it be, perhaps, that this isnt art? art isnt in the eye of the beholder, it's in the eye of the artist, and that's what keeps it alive. i'll leave this alone from now though. and,i honestly wasnt worried that you would take offense. i couldnt care less.

Hmm...so what i expected.From you, and art truly IS in the eye of the beholder , since the artist is an beholder also and as such he creates his or hers pieces to something that reflects his thoughts of what would be art.
And the picture i commented doesent hold my image as art so for me it is not art.
I am sure that the artist knows this and understands it (since we talked about it) and you should not be so one pointed.

хм, а на мой взгляд жестче будет - взгляд у неё коварный такой с хитрецой, а серги женственности придают, они еще очень красиво "плавают" в воздухе - и с волосами хороший эффект дают. но это лишь мой взгляд

the first thing that struck me was how the model's skin is actually darker than her hair. usually model's in b&w photos are very pale looking, so this made your's seem fresh and novel. the only critique i can give is more for the model; i think she should angle her face upward more, bc this angle makes her nose look kind of big.
