It's a potentially compelling situation. How long does it last? Where does it stop? What were they doing in the first place? It just doesn't capture my attention for whatever reason

what about them having to deal with their old lives after getting stuck together? (like having different jobs)

Yeah, like I say, could be interesting. But it just doesn't attract my attention. Possible because I like variety in a situation like that, and their predicament is static, how they are stuck together will probably not change.
