Ever the chatterbox, Magnus is not afraid to talk with strangers. New faces, unknown beings, if you can be approached, she will talk with you.

Negatives: Impulsive, Sloppy, Impatient
Not one to think things through, Magnus is rather quick to jump into someone on an impulse. It sounded good in her head, so she went with it. Why stop and think when you can act right?
While she isn’t the cleanest person around, she has a nasty habit of making her living area a bit on the messy side. This also lingers into battles, where her technique isn’t exactly thought out and planned, more just slapped together with duct tape and hope that it’ll work.
Unable to sit quietly and wait, Magnus is Impatient to a fault. One of the few reasons she wasn’t promoted in the Rangers. She hates to just sit around when there’s action to be having.

Born and raised in Mahogany Town, Magnus always grew up in the forest. Her family frequently took trips out to the Lake of Rage, where they would enjoy time along the shallow portions of the lake, and true wooded areas. There was where Magnus found her love of the outdoors. From climbing trees to hiking trails, to swimming and fishing, the girl couldn’t be pulled away. Well, asides from one day. Around the age of 6, while out climbing trees, she found herself climbing upon a resting site of Kakuna. Soon evolving into Beedrill, the bugs didn’t quite take kindly to her intrusion and gave chase to drive her away. The girl ran to try and avoid being stung, hiding away in a nearby bush. The bee drills lost her, but something else found her. A sleeping Heracross awoke and became furious at Magnus, soon chasing her off as well. Terrified, the little girl ran to her parents for protection, clinging to them and practically begging to go home. Confused by all that she said, her parents agreed and took her home, in time learning of all she had gone through.
As time moved along, Magnus slowly got herself back into the swing of the forest. Taking caution around areas of bug Pokémon, the girl soon found her love of the forest again. One day, out on the trails, she stumbled upon a young injured Mareep. Staying by its side, she had to think fast in making sure it’s condition didn’t get worse. Rummaging through a few bushes, she found some Oran berries to feed it, only managing to get a few into the tired Pokémon. After some time of making sure the mareep was stable for transport, she carried the sheep Pokémon into town, asking the Pokémon center for help in healing it. The center did as they were asked, helping to raise the mareep back to health. Asking around town for what might have happened to the Mareep, a few townsfolk mentioned the arrival of some poachers to the area. Seems the forests around the Lake of Rage were good spots for poaching rare Pokémon. This, this knowledges ticked her off. How could someone be so cold and ruthless to do that? Though as she went back out into the forest to confront the poachers, she found herself too late, as someone else took care of that matter. Arriving into town, a small group of Pokémon Rangers escorted a band of poachers, cuffed and kept in line. Amazed by their efforts, she asked them how they were able to take them out so effectively. She got her answers, and after an hours chat, she was invited out to their training facility, to try and join the Rangers.
Years past, and through her efforts and dedication, she had made in onto the Pokémon Rangers. Though as a small cadet, she wasn’t tasked with any large scaled/dangerous missions. Mainly the small disturbances, delinquents terrorizing Pokémon, and the occasional lone poacher. Sure she enjoyed what she was doing, but part of her felt like she could do more. Being sent out to the Issho region on a small mission, Magnus looked around for where her mission was suppose to be. It was then when she noticed the appearance of Shadow Pokémon. Pokémon forced to be ruthless killing machines, attacking anything and everything that moved? Why would someone do something to these poor creatures? These and many other questions motivated her to get to the bottom of it.
