Well, knowing him and noticing his actions, as well as taking note of the message the manga is giving us, I'm sure he'll try to go for a world war. There IS a reason why Ymir stopped trusting him with Historia's fate and why we have Gabi now as the reflection of Eren (hotheaded "hero" who learns the truth of war). One of the warnings the manga gives us is how he refuses responsibility over Sasha's death, blaming another soldier for acting as he once acted while trying to defend his people.

In my viewpoint , I think he will follow the will of his father and Kruger ; but by following in priority that of his titan ( Attack Titan ) .
