Powers: Aaron is an energy well, he unconsciously pulls in ambient energy from all around him, be it electric, psionic, photonic, or atomic. Gathering this ambient energy into his body at a cellular level and storing it with in him. Maelstrom can use this energy as a weapon or a shield, by projecting it from his hands and eyes as dangerous blasts and even propel himself a great distance into the air for extended leaps. As he gathers energy Maelstrom becomes physically strong, doubling his normal strength at max power. Soon after reaching maximum build-up Aaron must expel some of his stored energy before it explodes from within him destroying him in a violent explosion. Aaron can not absorb energy that is “active”, like a lightening bold, energy beam or shock wave.

History: Young Aaron’s powers also surfaced as a young teen. Growing up in his parents’ house Aaron was constantly hyper, no matter what his parents did to stop it; he was all ways full of energy. His parents started to notice that their energy bill was getting higher and higher each month, and they seem to suffer black outs nearly every night, as Aaron slept. After sending him away to summer camp they noticed their power consumption returned to normal and the black outs stopped. At the same time Aaron found him stronger and faster then the rest of the kids and even discovered that he could shot energy from his hands.
