Between Malice Mizer's Beast of Blood and Dethklok's Dethharmonic, I just had this vision of Skwisgaar in the dress Mana wore. So I attempted to draw it. I have several projects lined up, but I am considering doing two more of these.I just love the Klaha era sound of baroque metal, and Dethharmonic has that classical metal-ish sound. So here ya go.
As always, my scanner ruined a ton of this (such as cutting it off short on the sides!! )
Anyweee... Dethklok and Malice Mizer don't belong to me. I just scribble them with colored pencils.

I tried making thicker lines on the cello to make it pop. I think I was successful. Outside of the concept, that cello is one of the few things I'm satisfied with. I just liked this cuz it was good practice.

i like on skwisgaars skirt the line depth you used to make him look behind toki also in the arm holding the frog. (you know what that means now) lol
I would say use some more leading lines to leave some things to the imaginiation
like in the folds at his waist. it would make it more flowy like real fabric ^_^

Which reminds me that (I think) yesterday, HalloKatzchen posted a picture on Y!Gal of Skwisgaar in an "O" Dress...From that book about that French manor that had all these slaves who wore those dresses because they were sex slaves and they had to be "ready for use" whenever they were needed.
And on YouTube, I saw where Mana was interviewed, and he said his parents always wanted a girl, so he felt they were happy with the way he turned out. I nearly busted my squeedilysplooch laughing at that.
So, this picture: AWESOME JOB GREAT SHOW. I like their expressions, they just look so angry.

I was trying to make Skwisgaar look as angry as possible without wearing his raeg faec. I should really go check out "O" dress Skwis. Sounds incredibly interesting lol.

Thank you haha! Like I said, I saw some parallels between Mana and Skwisgaar and had wanted to try my hand at Dethklok Visual Kei. It didn't turn out perfect, but I'm still rather happy with it. It was good practice for me lol.
