She glanced past me as I lay proped up against the back of my chair.
I struggle to lunge at her, but only slip down to the floor.
I gasp, "you", and cann't find the strength to say anything more.
"what were you trying to do with that console?", she asks me
I cann't answer, I am fading fast.
"oh, that's right. I shot you and now you cann't move, talk, or think"...
Her little grin expresses her delight at the end of her charade,
"I think this is an improvement. I do like you, I just cann't have you stopping my plan"
My eyes close, darkness takes me.
I feel her hands grabing at my arms and legs, She has tied me up.
Not that I could fight her,
I liked her too...

I pretend to still be asleep. I asses my situation carefully.
I am tied down to a seat inside her shuttle. I have no combadge,
my uniform has been taken from me, replaced by civilian garb.
She's smart. she knows that starfelt can track any of it's officers with nano-transponders woven into the intelligent cloth. Intelligent cloth; keeps itself clean, regulates body tempurature, monitors vitals, fully knife-puncture proof, resistant liquid armor, even acts like a bandage when you're hurt.
I don't have anything to aid in my escape or to call for rescue; No tricorder, no personal shield generator, no science kit, and no phaser.
I risk opening one eye slightly.
"oh come now", she calls back over her shoulder, "the biomonitor informed me the moment you had more than 40 heart beats a minute, I know your awake".
"you cann't get away with this", I say, "they will find me".
"this, this? you don't know what 'this' is". she got out of the pilots seat and waved her hands about. I shift in the seat struggle against the restraints.
She taps her combadge, " I have the package. arival in 2 days time, By the book".
I sag in my seat. defeated...
"What are you going to do with me"?
She strides over to me and sits down on my lap, she lifts my chin with her finger tips, "why, I am taking you to meet our new friends". She leaves me for a few moments, probably to get a snack from the replicator.
"have you ever heard of 'project dream'? No, well. I'll tell you. All of starfleet is tested in every concievable way, even for psychic potential. It turns out that you are one of the strongest 'latent' talents section 31 has ever acquired"...
She walks back into the room and kneels next to me. She holds up a brownie ala mode and smiles, "i thought we'd share like that one time".
I won't eat.
"anywho, 'project dream' is a process to awaken latent psionic talents so that they can better serve starfleet. now more than ever we need all the 'brainpower' we can get to fight all the threats we face".
a rush of emmotions fills me as the realization dawns on me.
"How could you do this to me? why couldn't you have just asked me? why did you have to dissable the U.S.S. Fresno? I thought we were going to be friends",I strain and twist in the vain effort to break free, to no avail.
She stands up and returns to the counter a few yards away, "I will not be some lab rat! I won't join section 31!" I yell. "I am going to fight you"!
"Well, fight all you like. it won't make any difference", She presses a hypospray against my neck, "Pffft". "enjoy your trip, have a nice stay" she says.
I growl at her, "Bit-uhh"... it all goes dark again, *DAMN IT*!!!

I bought my beast at Computerlx.com $750 a year ago. Quad Core 3.5Ghz (AMD), 16Gb Ram DDR3, 1 Gb video with 285 processing cores (nvidia with Cuda) and windows 7 64bit. Figured this might help get you on the right track for searching something out.
It's still running strong!

Sounds like a good choice, I'll have to go there when I get a loan. Need to feel comfortable with the amount of work I'm getting first (RL job) before I grab a loan though. Thanks for that suggestion, friend!
