wonderful lighting. Perhaps extending the canvas to the sides, make it more a panoramic view would emphasize the 'desolation' the character is in. Wonderfully done.

Why are you so awesome at backgrounds??? I'd love to just whip a bg out like that and have it looks this good. Some of your other ones look almost like real 3D renders!

what if you tried to add a little bit of a blue tint to it. That would push the "desolation" mood a bit more. Right now it's more of a "wanderer", "traveler", or "loner" mood.
