Rare picture of a New Jersey bobcat out and about during the day hunting. As best as I can figure it was stalking a bird when I spotted it and got these photographs. I was surprised when it did not run as soon as it saw me and I did manage to get the photographs from a distance. Large cat about 40 pounds and in great shape well fed and healthy.
