aaa so here we go! another giveaway /v/ this one is draw/write to adopt.This giveaway ends on the 27th of September!
Please read my adoptable rules before entering!
before the inevitable person tells me that it's unfair because i'm more likely to choose a pretty drawing, I judge both writing and art equally. I like seeing my adopts go to good homes where they won't just become a generic/boring/stereotypical character >v>
How to enter : drawing:
Draw the design! it's as simple as that. I have no rules regarding whether or not it has to be full body, or coloured, or whatever. Just do whatever you like! I do, however, forbid the use of bases in all my draw to adopt giveaways. For bonus points with me, feel free to enter the 'writing' part as well, by writing a bio in the artist's description.
How to enter : writing:
Write a bio for the character you would use this design for, and comment on this deviation with it! Please no more than two paragraphs total. Too much writing is difficult to go through. If you absolutely must write more, do so outside of the comments and link me to it. A good template for bios is this:

Name: Alexia Winston ( a.k.a Alex Winston. )
Age: 21
Occupation: Owns a small bakery.
Home: Farm house in the middle of nowhere.
History: When Alex was born his parents were rather unhappy having wanted a daughter their first child. They treated Alex rather badly as he grew up often yelling insults at him and once struck him. When Alex turned 5 however he came into the kitchen wearing a skirt and a girls shirt. This caused a good week of awkwardness that was worsened by Alex declaring they call him " Alexia " throwing a tantrum when they wouldn't. So he grew up and the tension faded, his parents never yelled at him again and he ended up getting a job owning a bakery called 'Sweet Tooth Cafe'.

Personality: He's usually a all around peppy person with a hard to ruin good attitude. If he isn't baking he's day dreaming in a old oak in his back yard.

History: She had an easy childhood, her parents took care of her and learned her how to catch stars and fly, after that they let her go her own way, that's when she met Pantie [ katoxpinyin.deviantart.com/gal… ]and they became good friends.
Personality: Often smiling and very energic, always wiling to share her stars with her friends, even so if someone picks on her or people she knows she's ready to jump in and protect them!
Other: she likes fluffy things and fun flying races.

Name: Lenina "Sweetie" Coutet {La-nina Co-tut}
Age: She 18 {a lot of skin, no? Many say she'll be trouble}
Occupation: She works part time, Summer break, at one of the few maid cafes of the United States {My Cup of Tea in D.C.}. In the fall and winter months, she re-stocks clothing stores {places like "Icing" and "Forever TwentyOne" and "Love Culture"}.
History: She's had the average drama-filled life of a teenage woman. Her transition into adulthood has been rocky at best. Having been rather spoiled and well taken-care-of her entire life, becoming independent is a challenge. Lenina is starting to realize that, in reality, no one cares how cute you are if you don't work well with others. This is a harsh reality that she fights against using mind games; she gets others to work extra hard for her in place of actually doing it herself.
Personality: She's manipulative and a tad snarky. She speaks in the most proper way and tends to be rude with a sweet child-like voice. Her spoiled personality makes her think that the world is hers. However, she's not completely evil. She genuinely cares for some; Lenina just cares about them less than she does herself. Lenina judges harshly which causes friendships to be rare and strained.
Other?: She'd never consider dating any of them men that frequent the maid cafe. However, a rather plain {aka normal} red-headed man infuriates her in the best way. It's a blossoming love that she outright hates.

Age: 16
Occupation: Works at a part-time job at his aunt's ice cream shop that is joined to her apartment complex
History: At age five, his parents died so he moved into his cousin's house with her Asian step-mom.
Personality: Samuel has Asperger's Syndrome and as for it has suffered social awkwardness his whole life and has no friends. He's very quiet but blunt in his sayings. He's very no-nonsense and impatient. Even though he won't admit it, he hates being mistaken for a girl and he hated when his cousin dresses him up in girly cosplay. His face is usually void of emotion unless he's shocked or embarrassed ... or he sees a spider.
Other?: His mother used to dress him up as a girl when he was younger and one day he fell into a spider web and a giant spider crawled into his dress. He's hated bugs ever since.

Well, you don't really have the story straight. Sam isn't a cross dresser, he just looked like a girl as a kid and his mom dressed him up as a girl and now his anime loving cousin does it to him. And a lot of people hate bugs, that's not so strange. And shouldnt charters be strange? It makes them interesting and unique. But I appreciate the criticism anyways, though you should careful in the future because some people take it harsher than others and I would hate for someone to be really hurt by your words.

How can niceness be devalued? I find niceness to be the best way to handle anysitutation because the only alternative is meaness. And you aren't going to catch flies with vinegar. Though I'm not sure what to do with any flies

Niceness can be devalued if the only thing a person gets is people acting nice. If that happens, you stop understanding the meaning of someone being "nice" because there is no frame of reference to compare "nice" to. If you lived your entire life in a room that was colored red, would you know what blue was? No, because all you would know was red.
Same thing here. Unless you get treated badly by some people, you won't feel as good when you are treated nicely by others. There must be two sides to a coin, otherwise it cannot exist.

Yeah, balance is good. Having the equal amount of good and bad. I understand that cause like if you baby a kid all its life it will believe that it can get everything it wants just by asking. In this world you need to work hard for achievement.
But what I'm saying is that if EVERYONE was nice to each other then you wouldn't need to be mean to anyone. I think 'Mean' is a color everyone could live without. Though it would be sad to live without blue, its my favorite color.

Name: Lyrica Zephyr

Occupation: Guard for Darcosna (a small village in a wip story)
History: Was used as bait to train some of the most lethal creatures the Oranta Kingdom. She learned how to stand her ground when attacked, and they eventually took her in as one of the creatures to train, not kill. She became very skilled for the first girl trained. One day during training, she was to destroy a screw up of a creature that wasn't right in the head. She couldn't bring herself to do it, so escaped. Almost at the point of death, she stumbled upon Darcosna. The villagers fed and clothed her properly, and in exchange, she would protect their village. (Later on she will be a big part in the Rebellion against Oranta)
Personality: Charismatic, Grateful, Slightly Schizophrenic
Other?: She is human, so to feel like she fits in with the locals, she wears a headband with bunny ears. While standing on guard, she often talks to herself.

Age: 17
Occupation: She's a beautiful artist and poet, as well as a genius double agent.
History: Bonnie was your average teenager, hated school, very shy, and a bit mean when rubbed the wrong way. Until one day she was kidnapped, at the age of 15, and lost all of her memory, she gradually regains her memories as well as becomes a genius, due to the kind hear ted man that, at the age of 16, found her in a small village, disoriented. With her genius she becomes somewhat of a double agent, only helping if it means she is being financially rewarded.
Personality: Bonnie is very shy, sweet( if your just as kind) daring, rebellious and a bit introverted. She has a very poetic soul and expresses herself through art, music, and ( of course) poetry. Bonnie is very strong willed and has alot of affection for her loved ones or lovers.
Other?: Bonnie's love interest is the hear-ted man she has difficulty remembering his name ever since she left his caring home. Bonnie is also Caribbean and was rescued during a festival. She has a heart tattoo on her thigh and is is quite the schemer.

Occupation: Cosplaying and making/designing clothes.
History: Ever since she was a little girl she loved playing dress up, she started making her own costumes at 12 years old and just kept doing it... later she started designing her won clothes designs and made them into real fabricated clothing. :3
Personality: She a sweet person though she will give you the silent treatment when mad. She's very motivated and dedicated to what she does so she can work all day.(very hard working) She is very social and at first meet she can be very talkative.
Other?: When she first started designing she was very naive.. but she grew to be mature.. xD

Name: Marlow Hatsu
Age: 21
Occupation: She works as a bartender. She is also a thief, at times.
History: Marlow had a pretty normal childhood. Her mother died when she was 11, and her father was an alcoholic, so she ran away and started stealing things, becoming a delinquent at 13. She started stealing smokes and booze at 15, and still does both those things. She smokes when she's nervous or worried, and she drinks all the time, but is careful not to become an alcoholic, like her terrible father. Everyone is surprised when they get to know her.
Personality: She is very Bipolar, Passive Aggressive, etc. She comes off as sweet, but she explodes if anyone else is rude to her friends. Has a hard time making friends. Typically very protective, nice, adorable when you are good friends with her.
Other?: Tattoos: Heart on thigh, and a bar code on the side of her ribcage.
I'm going to be drawing little traditional doodles and submitting those, too!
