Been looking for a nice Fox plush for a while, after being kinda disappointed with the Douglas foxes. Very happy to add this guy to my wild canine collection, he's incredibly soft and signature Fennec Fox ears. Tail isn't as detailed as the Douglas, but I think it's a minor complaint.ĀHoping to add some non-douglas plush this year, branch out with some other brands. Thinking about getting the Adventure Planet Red Fox and a Unitoys Border Collie! Still wanna see what Douglas has up their sleeve though!Ā

I have seen some very nice Sly Fennec foxes by Douglas but I agree with you that yours had a bad case of the derp. I wish I could find Douglas' long since retired red fox, Artemis. She's gorgeous but oh, so rare!

Yes, I believe Disney has an Artemis, as do a couple other plush collectors on here. She's a gorgeous old Classic plush!

I'm honestly not all that impressed with douglas wolves or foxes. I actually like other brands better than douglas. I do love douglas dog plush though. The 16 inch ones are best. This fox is soo beautiful. Much nicer than the douglas one.

Yeah, they do pretty great with domestic dogs imo; that's their strength. I've never been super into wolves or foxes but whenever i find myself looking for one, Douglas just doesn't do it for me. When it comes to wild animals, other brands seem to be better. Maybe that's reason why i'm getting into wolves and foxes, the cat/dog ebay searches for douglas have been soo dry or the longest time. Now i'm seeing all these wolves and kinda wanting to try some new brands!

It's actually super hard to get alot of the douglas dogs that are rare and older. My favorite wolf plush is actually my custom ones by Sarity. But my favorite ones that are company made are the Jaag Giant Wolves. Those are beautiful. But I also Love the Baur Blickfanger Wolves and the Playkids wolf. The wwf wolves are beautiful too and the Gipsy and FAO ones. My favorite vintage wolf is the Large laying Heartfelt Wolf. There are soo many nice wolf plush it's hard to choose one. But the douglas wolves are not my favorite.
