Now in today's lesson of elements in Protistum, Caligo, my fave element! It's considered "Dark" element, and utilises the power and magic of chemistry and potion-making! Poison and explosion -- that's Caligo. The name "Caligo" comes from the genus Caligo (as in owl butterflies). That shit is creepy af, which fits this "dark" element.

In this picture, Khold (NEW old OC!*) is extracting the fluids of a dead creature and getting ready to separate it to create poison. At the back is Candy Agreas (a Form lower than Khold, but had to share lab for a sec). For her project, she decides to make "Lucky Jellybeans", jellybeans which will make you ... lucky. Let's hope she passes the test.

The cool thing about Caligo is that even if you're a normie (human with no magic), you can still do this, at least the potion-making parts of it. Ingredients are from magical items, but the mixing itself usually (not all) requires no magic. Rodents, reptiles and dead things, are great source for poisons.

*Khold existed like 2 years ago but only now I gave him a face.
