Yes, the "J." is actually not a middle initial, but rather the first letter of his given name, and Pyro is nothing but a persona he has awarded himself, a means of keeping himself mysterious. Apart from that he's a very outgoing and friendly person, although tends to get a bit too excited sometimes, and has a tendency to ramble about his interests, or any topics he claims to have any knowledge on.
