I believe this may just about be the point in Platinum that Cyrus snapped.It's also about the point when this game skyrocketed to my favorite in the Pokemon franchise.
As soon as the lake guardians appeared to try and stop Cyrus, and those great empty eyes blinked out from the shadowy pit of Distortion World... yep. Giratina is now one of my top favorite legendaries, right next to Ho-oh.
Anywho, this depicts one of my favorite parts in the game, when Giratina appears for the first time, and takes Cyrus into Distortion World when he tries to destroy reality to create his own.
EDIT: "I reject your reality, and substitute my own!" Pfft. Sorry, I'm watching Mythbusters as I'm rereading this.
I don't care how emotionless Cyrus is throughout the game. If a giant, shadowy legendary Pokemon is coming at a person, that person is going to be scared absolutely shitless no matter what.
EDIT: Oh, and yes, I know that Giratina generally has wings and not arms in his altered form. However, this is drawn from that instant in the game before he grabs Cyrus, where they actually reconfigure into clawed, armlike appendages.

Cyrus is, without a shadow of a doubt (and I can't believe I used that particular saying here), my FAVOURITE PokΓ©mon villain of all time, Giratina is one of my absolute favourite legendary PokΓ©mon and PokΓ©mon Platinum is one of my favourite games in the series - for me, this whole thing is PERFECTION! Yeah, I felt the same way. Cyrus was my favorite villain so far from the Pokemon games, and it didn't seem to make sense at all for him to stay there. But I guess all of that doesn't really matter once one has gone crazy.

This really captures the awesomeness of that moment. I was still reading what Cyrus had said, when suddenly Giratina lunged forward and ungulfed the screen! It took me a moment to realize Cynthia or whoever it was had started talking afterwards.
Giratina's in my top favorite Legendaries too. He's #3, Latios is #2, and Ho-Oh is #1.
