I would say that Scar is on the smaller side of average. That being said, I would hate to come across Samson in a dark alley.

Scar is actually smaller than average. He is actually smaller than Sarabi if you really pay close attention to their scenes. They are the same height but she has more weight to her. So Scar is kinda runty. He's about the size of a 4 year old male lion but under fed. Making him and Simba the same size at the time of the fight but Simba again having more weight to him. Lion King 2 Simba is larger and closer to Mufasa's size.
