the Ancient cave lions that roamed europe were twice to three times the size of modern lions. However, Samson is a genetic mutation. Gigantism can accur in any species. Even humans. However, such mutations rarely survive in the wild.

He's an older lion. Still in his prime but he is aging. And Scar has traveled pretty far. So I wanted the coloring of the lions in this area to be more... faded. There will be a few rogues with a bit more color.
But I wanted the "Collector" to be more pale. To look exactly opposite to Scar.

That's pretty cool. Interested to see how this turns out and what makes Scar leave them, especially since they don't seem so bad.
