a typical day at marching band. K, for those of you who can't guess, I'm the shirtless trombonist in the middle there, completely not knowing where I'm going. Sucks for everyone around me....the shirtlessness has become a sacred tradition which will continue until the very end of the marching band season (or until it just gets too freakin' cold). Uh, let's see...what else? oh! I left it sketchy (at least for now) to give it a better sense of chaotic movement...I'll probably make it more "deviation quality" later...if I feel like it...um...that's about it 'cept....MARCHING BAND ROCKS!"do you find something funny about the word tromboner?"

(And there are no trombones in our band, so all the concert band trombonists have to learn marching baritone.)
(But that's okay, cause that means that trumpet makes sense to me now.....in a way.)
(And I'm the crazy always-cold person who wears a jacket and long black pants in July.)
Maybe I'm not the shirtless trombonist type...but I do skip dots sometimes.

Our tradition, before every show, is to get in a circle and chant BONER BONER as loud as we can until a parent tells us to shut up. Our section kicks ass.

we all have to keep our clothes on at practice, haha.
at my school, it is a sacred low reed tradition to basically break all of the rules. haha, we bring candy and poptarts into the stands with us, we eat cookies and milk in the band hall before competitions, we have a 'i really don't care if i'm here or not' attitude, but we really care more than any of the other band members. ha. we never get in trouble

lol, I was the only one who had that tradition. Our official brass tradition was getting large bags of candy after competitions...they always ended up in another trombonist's pants...

Haha, ew. We always got donuts after football games... That was just the trombones. And we had a mascot- a little bear that said "What would Jesus do?" that we'd give to the best overall marcher in the low brass after every practice.

Haha. I'm in marchin band as well. I've got the top bass drum. I was a rookie last season. My sister is a trombone player, and I call her Tromby to make her mad.

Ya...PUT YOUR SHIRT BACK ON!!!! It is nasty expecially when you are peeling from sunburn! Ahhhhh!!! Hey! Don't be putting saxes in stuff like that! We all know what we are doing besides a certain freshman girl! *coughemilycough* Anyways...*sigh*...Actually, I think almost everyone knows what they are doing except you...and I should work on my technique..esecially that one set where we go backwards diagonal in All the Small Things..I HATE THAT SET! ><

pfft, that sunburn's looong gone. haha, the only person that was 'parodied' was me (disclaimer: no saxophones were harmed in the making of this drawing). This was made merely to illustrate what would happen if I competely lost my place on the field and marched through a formation....or two...cuz it's not like I do that already *cough*. lol, that's the set I always screw up on. I have the same exact move in Any Way You Want It, except in 20 counts instead of 16, so I'm hecka used to having 4 more counts

i tried blue devils one day and i felt like i was some robot with all those dots, and that annoying tempo u have to march to... havent done it since. well it cost too much.
