As I saw her, I just had to draw her. We donΒ΄t know her color scheme yet, so I did her in a fabulous purple.

It's a nice drawing, but I don't like to think of Gine as being such a softie shoujo saiyan... :\ I hope we see some of her toughness in DB Minus.

I like her like this. Not every Saiyan has to be the same. I mean look at Tarble, he's not a fighter but he's still an enjoyable character

Gine and Dragonball Minus introduce new aspects to the saiyan culture which never seemed to exist until now. I don't mind a little depth, but Goku was supposed to be so special for reasons other than his (now Superman-esque) origins. I guess I'm too much an old school fan to find the new stuff equally appealing.

thats nothing what I invented, Toriyama discribes her as "gentle personality and wasnβt cut out as a warrior, being repeatedly saved from danger by Bardock"... thats what I found about her in an officiall inteview.
besides, I donΒ΄t think that a full race can have such an one-dimensional personality, as to be only cruel and proud.

I didn't mean to imply the saiyan race has only one aspect and one aspect only. I just hope Gine is more than a shoujo flower. This picture, although a very lovely piece, embodies the softness and gentleness that I hope is NOT Gine's defining characteristic. Not even Chi-Chi is this sweet all the time!
