So I was browsing DA and saw this. It immediately caught my attention. Looking closer at it, I was really amazed by the grasses and those autumn leaves. The shading is nice and the colors are well blended. But now that I've noticed it, I didn't realize the deer was hiding behind the bush until I fixated my eyes on the grass near it. The trees are cool but I may suggest that you add more detail to the trees and add more plants so that it will have more "forest-ish" feel. But overall, I'm amazed and speechless. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Such a nice piece, but they might want to use a gun..wouldn't it hurt the deer less? Well actually I don't know...which one would hurt more?

Bow hunting is just as effective! Becoming a competent, ethical hunter requires a lot of practice and a lot of trial-and-error for either weapon.

Yes, but does one hurt the animal more then the other?

Not really, most of the time it only takes one shot to instantly kill a deer and they don't feel anything. And even it didn't, like I said, hunters train to be efficient with their weapon so the animal isn't hurting for long. Big game animals are extremely pain tolerant. Especially since predators have sharp teeth and no mercy.
