LOL I have both games.
They'ye basically the same,only the PSP one has Kratos and Dampierre,they changed the background music and time of day in the stages,there's no story or Tower mode,you can't change what the characters wear,only the coloring,they made it harder to unlock stuff,they gave each character a new blue lightning attack for critical finishes and some of the attacks work differently.

lol i hate the recoloring thing about main char edit.
the thing i always hate is armor breking.like you be naked if your main armor breaks.and they should make atleast a skull face.instead of mask.
and i lik yoshi(2p outfit) and nightmare(1p outfit).

Yeah I was tired so I just put the regular ones,but soon I'lll ad the guest characters,Darth Vader,Yoda and the Apprentice.
I guess I'll put the bonus characters in too,Ashlotte Kamikirimusi,Angol Fear,Sheherazade,and Shura
