Mr 736 Moon On A String was at it again. No amount of whip reminders or vocal cues was going to make him pick up his pace. Step by bouncy step, the busy idiot inched forward at a snail's pace, wasting energy in vertical movement and nickering every few moments. Jonah suspected Moon knew exactly what he was doing, and that he was doing it to get maximum attention. Straight up acting out, now that was not typical for the equine Don Juan. Stretch the boundaries he did, but he wasn't naughty. Screaming and whinnying, well that apparently was too risky and foolhardy when a multitude of other stallions were around. But tickling his nose with his knees and only technically moving forward... clearly that was the plan. Jonah sighed.

Nearly a full minute later and only a couple of yards father on the way the previously amused audience was growing quiet. The judges no doubt were getting annoyed and the officials were clearly restless. Jonah groaned. His horse was making a pointless show and in effect he looked like a fool who couldn't and shouldn't control a stallion, or better, an owner who didn't know when it was time to move the jewels to the basement, or even better, an owner who specifically trained the horse to do this as a stupid gimmick.

Jonah was seriously considering giving his horse one good whack of the whip when Moon suddenly shook his entire neck, snorting, and picked up a good trot as if he had only now woken up. Jonah stumbled forward and only narrowly avoided a fall, but managed to match the horse's steps which now were flighty and swift, close to hasty for a halter ring.
