Description
From the first few pieces of the first Hardy Boys: Casefiles books, Dead on Target. First Joe is a total brat playing with the keys to his boobytrapped car, then Iola Morton gets blown to pieces, then her funeral. That'd be Callie on Frank's arm. Joe punched him in the mouth, by the way.It was good. Made me sniffle.

Not sure why I haven't favorites this before because Joe's FACE...oh man that is amazing. I felt like looking for HB fan art today because I got 7 casefile books at a second hand place yesterday and I am a very happy fan girl right now. This picture made me even happier.

I personally prefer the classic book series. In the 80s and 90s,every detective story always seemed to revolve around murder investigations, even now they still do.

Casefiles are EPIC! I've realized that they almost follow the TV series better than any of the other books.....besides the obvious fact that they drive in a van.

The Casefiles are my FAVORITE version/continuity/whatever. It's just too bad they lack Parker and Shaun, but I can cope.

It's pretty shocking, especially if you're used to the old ones. It sucked me in right away since it was just so different, and made it easier to get into all of the other Casefiles books.

take a look in your local library or a used book store. The original series of Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys is still in print even today.
