By the way, I noticed that my images go more to the dark side (no pun intended ) when uploaded to DA. Do you are aware of that? There is a solution for this?

i think it is the slightly green/blue background for pictures here that makes them look different. on al, i always use a white background. i've seen some use black. i don't think there is a solution except to tell someone that you don't like the background color. i think that someone would be $Moonbeam13 , and she is good at listening to the opinions of people here.

you can't choose one in da. that's the problem. you only get the mint green. on al you know how to choose one, right?

Too bad. Yes, there it's easy. It will be great if here we could change the background too, besides the journals I mean. I believe isn't dificult to make it available on several colors, even if only a couple more: black, white and a couple of neutral greys.
I believe you're quite right, this greenish background affects the images tones, not good

when they brought the latest version out of the software, the background was white. i don't program web applications so i'm not sure what would be involved in offering that kind of choice. i'll bet you can request it for the wishlist... although there may be more pressing things that needing doing first.
