Description
Update: Old versionNow I wouldn't normally update such an old deviation like this, but with it being so well used I thought it was worth making it consistent with my current Japanese-style tiles. Opinions on old vs. new?
I've decided to release this as a public tile, since there seems to be barely any decent shrine tiles to use. Feel free to edit it in any way that you want, it shouldn't be too hard to make it fit whichever style you use. Credit and

Overall
Vision
Originality
Technique
Impact
I always enjoy giving feedback, so I hope you don't mind me writing this critique!
Vision:
I've rated Vision four stars. This is because I think you did a great job translating something we've seen done quite some times already into something new. The curving on the borders of the roof give the tile more depth, which is a nice touch.
Originality:
I've rated Originality three stars. Like I mentioned before, the Japanese-ey kind of style is something that's pretty common, so I wouldn't say it's very original. I however do feel like originality is something that is pretty difficult to achieve in Pokémon-styled tiles, as the goal is to emulate the style in which Pokémon used to create their tiles (or models, rather, as this seems more similar to Gen IV than Gen III.
Technique:
I've rated Technique four stars. Something that I notice very often in fan-made tiles with an outlined style is that the outlines seem to lack shading. The outlines in this tile have been colored accordingly to how much the tile should stand out. The platform has a lighter outline than the building because it's part of the ground. The building has a darker outline color, which makes it stand out more and gives the tile a lot more depth. I also like that the shadowing you applied isn't just black. The warm color you used for the shadow gives the tile a lot more dimension. Great job on the roof texturing!
The only reason I didn't rate this five stars is because I always feel like there's room for improvement; nothing is perfect!
Impact:
I've rated Impact three stars. I don't necessarily consider the tile to be impactful. I however think it could be in the right map.
Overall: Nice job! My only critique would be that the shading in the windows and the door seems a little off. Maybe it would look better for the door if the shading transitions from brown to grey some more? There's kind of a disconnect between the interior and exterior now. As for the windows: I'd recommend ditching the shading here altogether, as it makes the windows feel like they're just a black wall.
(Unless they are a black wall and I'm misinterpreting it as windows? In that case, maybe find a way to shade them in a way that makes that a little clearer.)
Hope that helps!

Personally I think the added shading on the tiles gives a lot more complexity and depth to the tiles and makes them look miles better.

I'm glad you like the new version better, I was thinking people might not notice much difference... xD
But yeah, the roof was the main reason why I updated this. It just looks very flat in-comparison.

Yeah, now that you've updated it the roof does look pretty flat, that was the first thing I noticed when comparing it to the old version.

Thanks! And of course, just make sure to credit me if you upload it. You'll have to ask if he wants credit or not as I've edited what he did so much it isn't very close to the original.
