My first fake screenshot!ItΒ΄s Drake DuCaine standing against the first Saurian Overlord who tryed to conquer Puckworld.
And yes, the mask is silver-blue.
The mask was damaged in the last fight. During the repair it get also a new colour.

In my case, I also prefer silver-blue.

Y'know, I also have a theory about Wildwing and the mask of Drake DuCaine. Sometimes I think Wildwing and Nosedive are the latest descendants of DuCaine, and the mask has some special abilities or powers only granted to those who have some link to DuCaine. This would explain why only Wildwing looks "in" when he wears the mask. And I think that, if the series had lasted a bit longer, this theory might have been more and better worked out.
Anyway, it could've been a very interesting plot, huh? ^^

I really, really love it when someone decides to draw the legendary Drake DuCaine! It's always interesting how people picture him diffently. And I like your version alot! The colors are awesome and match the silver-blue mask perfectly! Oh...and is that a blaster on hin hand that he's pointing at the camera-view? *_* Good job!

Perhaps the silver color comes from some kind of plating (silver, platinum, white gold) that has worn off/rubbed off over time to the brass that lie underneath. This raises the option that there were other properties associated w/the plating that have been lost
