Yet another drawing that looks like it was drawn by someone else..*cries in corner*
I tried to do just mostly flat coloring.
The background is very bland to me. What can I do to make it compliment the drawing more?

choose a complement colour, like blue for orange, yellow for purple or red for green, and the box is fine, but maybe around the edge put a simple pattern or maybe a pastel/really light polka dot pattern in the background?
