Description
made this last night for a friend so I thought I'd upload it??
Sorry for the lack of explanation, I'll try to sum it up in the artist's comments:
#1. Put your base color on first
#2. Use the airbrush tool and lightly shade the top part of the eye
#3. Repeat #2 with a darker shade (I used a purple here)
#4. Make another layer on top and color in a pupil
#5. Lock the layer and airbrush the inside with a different color
#6. Go back to the original layer and airbrush the top with relatively the same shade
#7. Make another layer on top of both of them and put a really bright color on top
#8. Lower the opacity of it to your liking
#9. Put some shines in the eye
That's pretty much it.. I hope that's not too confusing for any of you!
the original illlustration was drawn by *Slugbox
coloring is mine c:

Nice tutorial, but isn't that Slugbox' art? Shouldn't you give credit?

The only thing I would suggest mentioning your use of preserve opacity and clipping groups if you're using them (which I assume you are) otherwise nice! Very helpful. uwu
