OMY! How did I ever miss this one! Gorgeous colours, may I ask how you got such rich browns?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PellucidMind In reply to judylee [2007-09-30 09:28:38 +0000 UTC]

Thank you Judylee The brown colour is my brown ink (KOH-I-NOOR) On the package it's written that it's ordinary brown, but it's very intensive and a bit deep-red like.
Thanks for stopping by

Alabastra [2007-09-22 08:28:28 +0000 UTC]

I love how the colors are melting in the background and the two shadows flying around...If I look at it to much I start seeing other things like a flying fish on the left or a upside down monkey on the left... ...

Versatis [2007-09-20 19:25:47 +0000 UTC]

PellucidMind In reply to Versatis [2007-09-21 09:31:33 +0000 UTC]

Creative, different design!
I was having the same problem with scanning my paintings. I now use my digital camera and you’ll be amazed at how these cameras pick up all the detail.

PellucidMind In reply to Ravenhaven [2007-09-20 17:45:38 +0000 UTC]

Thanks
For bigger artworks I use camera but when it comes do upload sth small I'm too lazy...and then I cry I have to switch to camera in those works that have nice textures...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ravenhaven In reply to PellucidMind [2007-09-21 00:31:57 +0000 UTC]

Yes, using a camera would sometimes capture the textures and detail much better than a scanner. And taking them outdoors helps with the color values.

I find myself being lazier towards scanning something then taking a picture of it. LOL
