Watercolours + brown ink + candle wax + masking fluid + foil bag..I tried various methods to enrich the background...the most contrastive point in the work (despite the frame) is the thing that should look like a strange gem or sth but it looks like...a bit rotten potato
You can guess why the title contains the word "drama"
. However I somehow like this works, I really enjoyed experimenting with the background.:butterflytwo:

Podoba mi się! Gdybym nie wiedział, że ziemniak miał z założenia być klejnocikiem, nie zorientowałbym się, że coś poszło nie tak, a moje myśli nie zaczelyby meandrować w stronę turkusu (który moim zdaniem również ładnie by pasował

podoba mi się ten posmak science-fiction, ziemniaczana-maska-euglena bardzo fajnie kontrastuje; przypominają mi się cuda wtorkowej "telewizji edukacyjnej" w czasach podstawówki, ale z kolei kolory są bardzo... dreamy. świetne połączenie i genialny tytuł.

May I ask what kind of paper you use,
mine always gets warped, I think it's too thin. D8

For this piece I used good quality watercolour paper, 300g/m2 but for some works I use paper of 160g/m2 - it's the minimum I use...It depends, good paper is not cheap unfortunately...I can give you a hint: when I paint on paper, no matter of what quality, I always stick it to the drawing board and after finishing and when the paint is dry I put sth heavy on the work and leave it for some time, the folds are gone or they are not so visible...you have to try out some methods and see what will work for you best depending on what kind of paper do you use. Check watercolour clubs, here on dA, they have nice aquatips

Toż to istna euglena! Rzekłabym nawet: euglena kartograficzna (tło bowiem przypomina mi mapę jakiegoś bajecznego, podwodnego świat[ł]a). Uwielbiam, gdy miksujesz media, pozostawiając tę puszystą, słodką piankę abstrakcji na tafli koktajlu akwarelowego, o smaku atramentowego wina
