What do you mean 'recognizable subject ?'

Well. Like. When you paint something, and it has recognizable objects in it.
whereas most of the time you have nothing but color, shape, and emotion.
In my honest opinion, your fish painting is your best work.

your watercolour skills are fantastic, this is really good and the colours are lovely. Does it reference something in particular?

Thank you
It's just a vision of a kind of invasion, I had no intention of presenting a reference to sth particular
Do you have sth in mind?

well, someone mentioned the 'recognisable subject'. the blood red colours and the swiftness and the tower sprung 9/11 in my mind in a short matter of seconds. Though i didnt want to spoil it by suggesting it, as you might have thought something else :/

I deffinitely had no intention of painting a scene resembling 9/11 tragedy...and the original colours are more like violet than red...but number of ways of interpreting an artwork is equal to the number of people trying to interpret it. Thank you for sharing your thouhgts.
My aim was to present a kind of fantasy scene of invasion...not necessairly the invasion of forms/objects but more like clash of hues.
