i love the cross hatching, and the etching.
i need to know, how did you use salt in this?
i'm guessing it's where the colours are sort of clouded, it looks fantastic.

The salt was used on the orb, it creates a frost-like pattern when put on a paint.

First I "draw" some things with a candle and then cover the parts with the paint, a nice pattern is created because the waxed surface is not covered with the paint totaly.
