If I still have some :3 The stuff I have is daler-rowney, which...no one seems to sell any more. I did find it on amazon, but even blick doesn't seem to carry it OTL
If you try it out, you need to be careful about what you get. I bought a pad of canson acrylic paper, and it had like...a glossy finish to it that just didn't take markers well at all, but it was also the super cheapo paper (like even cheaper than the XL stuff) so maybe if I got a pad of the better stuff it would work. I haven't tried strathmore's acrylic paper yet, which I should, because that's my go to brand for pretty much all art paper. The daler rowney is cheap stuff, but it takes markers extremely well, and it is quite fun to work on :3

Oh, I might try Strathmore's paper too, as it is also my go-to paper.
I just barely bought some Daler-Rowney paper just now for an affordable price. I'm not sure what type of Daler-Rowney paper you're using, so I ordered the Series 3. Did you get the Simply or the Series 3? I bought the Series 3 because it was the most affordable, and I was wondering if there's a difference (or if you know anything about the difference between the two).

What I have is the system 3 stuff :3 I really don't know much about the differences in daler rowney paper, cause I've never really used it aside from the earthbound journals. I guess I'm kind of a paper snob, cause I go with strathmore like 95% of the time. I really don't even buy canson often, even though I know it's just as good, it just isn't STRATHMORE XD Every time I do try to stray I just end up running right back to what I know and love. If you do try strathmore's acrylic paper before I get to it, you'll have to let me know how it does!
But yeah...this stuff has seriously been sitting in a box in a closet for probably a decade. I only stumbled across it again because I was trying to find some watercolor paper to send to a friend because she uses it more than I do XD I was just like 'huh, this stuff is interesting, wonder how it would act with markers' and surprisingly, I quite liked it. I hope you like it too!

On another note, maybe I too should try drawing on acrylic paper... it looks like fun.
