the hair is MAGNIFICENT

with such light hair as this one, i mostly applied light shades and then added strokes in the hair growth direction with an eraser. and for the little details where darker areas appear underneath the hair strands, oh well

I must say you have been one of my favourite artists I've seen so far, I really love the preciseness and your attention-to-detail you show in your art. It's always impressing to see new ones from you.
I have a question for your, if you don't mind, how do draw those highly-dark areas, as seen on Gaga's clothes in this picture? It's really great and also, what paper do you use?

i use a really thick, greasy and big pencil for those very dark areas. It's KOH-I-NOOR hardtmuth, and it basically looks like a big chunk of graphite. i use those for large black areas, and for smaller ones like eye lashes or something, i use something that is called the same but is the size of a normal pencil. here's the picture:

the first, large one is, as i said, a big chunk of graphite, no protective layers (like charcoal sticks). but the smaller one has a protective layer i guess, i don't know how else to call it
and paper, i'm embarrassed to admit that i have never used a piece of real drawing paper... i just buy smooth A3 thick paper, and they're bought individually. i hope this changes soon, and that i'll buy better paper and also make better progress with it. when that happens, i'll let you know

yeah, me and my friend went, and everybody was dressed normally, including us. and then we just looked around for people that looked freaky, and oh, they started showing up as time passed haha xD

no, thank you! i'm so glad you like my work, it means so much to me. you know, when i feel that way about someone else, when i look up to them, i always feel like they're "untouchable" and that they just say "thanks" because it would be a proper thing to do, and not really be grateful (well, not all of them of course, but sometimes i feel that way) because they're so sure of themselves, their skill and talent. i mean, it's like praising them is something they're used to so much it no longer has a big meaning
