Don't worry, you don't need to sign up to the website - you can use it without an account! Having an account just lets you comment, like, or mess with the file.
So I made this quick splatoon character creator. It currently only works with inklings, but I plan to make at least an octoling version in the future.
I want to add more to it, but it's too large to edit offline now, so it may be a bit fiddly to add stuff. Feel free to suggest anything though!
As long as you make sure to credit and link back to this submission or the original game, you may:
-Use characters you make with this game.
-Sell characters you make with this game.
-Edit or redraw the artwork.

Nope, I made this with Scratch. It's a very simple programming tool, primarily used to teach youngins how to code, and get them interested in it. I use it mostly because I can't afford anything more complex, but also it lets me do easy things without getting bogged down with complicated codes.

Could you maybe add a menu when you click on a category? It gets kinda annoying having to keep clicking just to find something you like. Plus it's more of a pain if you actually miss the thing you like.

Unfortunately that's a little beyond the capabilities of Scratch! Well, not really, but it's a bit beyond what I can do anyway. owo'
If this was flash I think that would be easier! But it's not, sadly. xD
I'll have a look and fiddle about a bit and see if i can at least do a menu to add or remove certain items and then only have to swap through the colours of one item at a time! but i dont think I'll be able to get that done im afraid. >_<
