I must say, I'm very, VERY satisfied with how this turned out. 8D I really like their expressions. Though Trucy always wears the same smile whenever I draw her... Weird... 8/
First drawn traditionally, then inked in on Photoshop. Ahh the awesome wonders of Photoshop... (And all other editing software that is.)
You're probably wondering why the title's as such. I drew this solely for this "System Animator" gadget my sister introduced to me when I was appealed by hers. What it does is follow whatever you set to it (Battery charge, CPU usage, RAM usage,etc.) but I always go with the "Sound output". Whenever music plays, the animator moves according to it. Neat right? You can make picture slideshows, short animations, and in my case, light up to the song. Awesome, I know. Ah but I'm lazy to link it here, sorry.

Personally I do think Maya gets more fanart than Iris, who is also one of Phoenix's possible partners (which I highly doubt), but yeah I know how you feel. Maya is a lot of fun to draw. XP

Yeah, that's right, but you have 3(+Layton vs. AA) Games to get to love Maya, while there is only one game with Iris, in which you thnk of her as an evil character until the end of the last case. (Not rly her, but whatever...)

Spoiler Alert for Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney (and AA Trials and Tribulations)
Maya always fascinated me since the first game. You get to know her as a terrified girl who just was accused of the murder on her sister. You instantly want to help her.
Then she turns into a cheerful, overloaded girl, which makes you smile alot. (or facepalming. or sighing. depending on your humor)
But then, in the last case, she certainly reveals her true spirit (Ya know, the moment van Karma zaps her toΒ unconsciousness). AΒ Girl that is covering her inner emptiness and selfconsciousness with a smile and childish behaviour, while inside, she is suffering from her low self-esteem.Β
You see this scheme in every game of the original triology, and the part that made me cry once again for the very last time in T&T is when i understood what it really means for Maya to see that Pearly is going to train extra hard, because Pearls thinks she is not good enough for the mystic-Maya.
Maya sees her own reflection in Pearly and finally gets to a point where she can face her problems and may get rid of them.
Or not. I hope. Damn, i want an Ace Attorney 6 with Maya. Pls Capcom, make sth. out of the Teaser at the end of Dual Destinies.

GAAHHH It seems Capcom's focusing on that Great Ace Attorney game instead... As much as I want that new game to be out soon, it would mean it will take some time before we get trailers for AA6. :'/

Uhm... Sorry to disappoint but this really isn't my art style... 8/ You could say my art style is mimicking others' because whenever I draw fanart, I tend to draw similarly to the original, depending if I liked it or not. If I draw OCs, they would look different... 8D I still appreciate your comment, though.
